Humans  eat for more than sustenance- we eat because we enjoy the taste, the smell, and the sight of food, the experience of socializing with friends and family, and we love to try new things! Well....most of us do....but what about those kiddos who just can't stand mealtimes? Are you a parent who finds this time of day exhausting? Is it a sensory difference? A motor deficit? A "behavioral" challenge? Let's dive into your child's mealtime habits and routines and work together to figure out what kind of help he or she- and Your FAMILY- needs.

This appointment is strategy specific, and can be scheduled following Part 1 of this series. After we've identified the possible reasons behind your child's feeding and eating difficulties, we will work together to identify activities and strategies that you and your family can try to help improve the mealtime experience, and continue to help your child build a positive relationship with food. We'll also discuss the benefits of in-person/in-home feeding therapy, if your child coul benefit from these services, and how to go about locating a provider.
