1.Assisting a parent in reviewing IEP objectives and their child's progress. 2. Pre-IEP meeting coaching to help parent develop questions prior to review. 3. Reviewing and suggesting updates to IEP goals and understanding what resources are needed to meet those updated goals. 4. Assisting with preparing for the Triennial IEP Review - ensuring the parent is able to advocate what is needed for the child. 5. Updating your IEP to include transition goals for their child so that they are prepared when a school is no longer an option. 6. Explain occupational therapy terms that might be confusing.
