About

I am a dedicated pediatric physical therapist who is motivated by watching children figure out this world and find joy in their achievements. I have been working as a physical therapist in the special education setting since 2002 and have enjoyed working with children with varying abilities. I was initially drawn to physical therapy after experiencing a knee injury when I was younger from doing gymnastics and I was first introduced to the field at that time. When I entered physical therapy school, I pictured myself working with athletes, but once I found out there was an entire area dedicated to pediatrics, I knew that was for me. I taught gymnastics to children as I moved through college and found that working with children as a physical therapist was very similar and just made sense to me. My first physical therapy job was in the school-based setting and I have never looked back. I love watching children figure out this world and find joy in their achievements and I'm grateful that I have been able to help and support them and their families, in at least a small part, as part of their journey.
